Curbside Services

Markham Public Library Launches Curbside Services on July 6

Markham Public Library (MPL) is excited to announce the launch of curbside pickup at three locations starting on July 6. Customers with holds available for pickup prior to the COVID closure will be able to arrange for a contactless pickup of their items.

Starting on July 15, customers will also be able to place new holds and return their library items (books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks only).

Curbside services will be offered at three locations during dedicated hours.

Locations:

  • Markham Village Library
  • Thornhill Village Library
  • Unionville Library

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday | 10 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday | 9 am – 5 pm

Customers with holds currently on the shelf will receive a notification that their holds are available for pickup. Once they receive the notification, they can schedule a pickup time online via AskMPL or call 905-513-7977. Customers will have two weeks to pick up their holds. Items can be borrowed for six (6) weeks before contactless return.
