Spring Reading Challenge

Join our Spring Reading Challenge to engage your kids in reading and fun activities! Complete all challenges between May 1 to 31st and you will be entered into a grand prize draw for a $25 Indigo or Walmart gift card!

How to Join

In order to join the Virtual Google Classroom you will need a google account. If you do not have a google account, you will need to create one.  We will be using Google Classroom to run the challenges, track your points, and communicate with participants.
*Note that other participants can see only your full name but no other personal information

Go to classroom.google.com and sign into your existing Google account or click “use another account” and “Create Account” on the bottom left to create a new Google account. Next, click join class on the upper right corner.

Once you are in the virtual Google Classroom look in the Classwork tab to find details to the challenges! Some of the challenges require you to Mark as Done and other challenges will require you to submit a photo of the challenge or a writing piece for the facilitator to see.

If you complete all challenges in the month of May, you’ll be entered into our grand prize draw of a $25 gift card.

We will also have a fun-filled virtual meetup over Zoom every week for the three age groups, information about the Zoom meetings will be posted in the Google Classroom.

Ages 9-12: Friday at 2:00 PM


It is important to us that our participants practice internet safety! We will not share any of your contact information with other participants. However, Google Classroom does show the full name of participants. If you do not already have a Google account, you can create one with a pseudonym for this program.

Keep an eye out on the main classroom stream for a welcome message from your facilitator and any important messages.
