Musical Instruments Lending Library
Ever want to learn to play an instrument? Guitar, violin or maybe drum? You can now borrow instruments for free from MPL's Musical Instrument Library. There's even a sound booth for you to record your own music or podcast. All you need to do is sign our Special Collections Agreement, opens a new window [PDF] and you are ready to start borrowing. Call Markham Village to check if the instrument is available before heading over to pick it up. To use the sound booth, you can simply email our Digital Literacy Specialist, opens a new window to reserve it.
Makerspace
Discover new technologies, participate in maker activities and learn coding and other digital skills. The makerspace is a collaborative do-it-yourself environment where you can explore 3D modeling and be creative with hands-on learning.
