We’re excited to kick off another year of Markham Public Library’s Annual Battle of the Books competition — a fun and engaging reading challenge that brings together students from across the community!
This friendly trivia competition celebrates the joy of reading as more than 10 schools face off to answer questions about 30 popular books. Each school team is made up of six enthusiastic readers in Grades 4–6, who work together to test their knowledge and teamwork skills.
Prizes are awarded to winners and participants, making every round a rewarding experience!
To register, submit your school’s registration form. Once confirmed by the Library, a $25 registration fee will be required to finalize your entry. This fee helps cover event and contest expenses and will be waived for the hosting school.
