Markham Public Library (MPL) is creating a new Strategic Plan to guide library services for the next three years and beyond—and we want to hear from you!

We're developing a new strategic plan and we want your input!

Markham Public Library (MPL) is developing a new strategic plan to guide us in the years ahead. To get started, we’ve been learning as much as we can, identifying trends impacting our community and the library world, looking at the changes taking place in our community and studying how needs and interests are changing.

Now, we’re turning to you. Your ideas, feedback and experiences will help shape a plan that reflects what matters most to you.

This summer, we’re inviting community members to share their voices through surveys, interviews, and conversations. Your ideas, feedback, and experiences will help shape a plan that reflects what matters most to you. How can MPL help you reach your goals?  How can we work together to build a stronger, more connected community?  Let's plan the future - together.

How to Participate

Join our community conversations and tell us about your goals for yourself, your family and the community.

Find us this at community events, festivals and parks and answer quick questions about our community.

Take our survey and tell us how you use the library now and what you’d like to see in future library services.

Follow us on social media and share your ideas. Visit our website for updates.
