Add Your Library Card to Your Phone Wallet

Your Library Card, Now on Your Phone

You can now add your Markham Public Library card to your Apple or Google Wallet. It works on iPhone and Android, so your library card will be with you whenever you have your phone.

It's the same card you already have. Your card number, account and what you can borrow stay the same. Your phone shows the same barcode as your physical card, and you can use it at self-checkout stations or at the service desk.

You don't need to download an app, but if you already use the MPL app, it still works the same way. Adding your card to your phone's wallet is an easy way to get to your barcode without opening an app.

How to Add Your Card

Fill out the Add Your Library Card to Your Phone Wallet [add link] form.

Enter your details exactly as they appear on your library account.

Check your email for a message with links for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

Open the email on your phone and tap the button to add it to your wallet.

Not sure what's on your account? Log in, opens a new window and check the My Settings, opens a new window page before you fill out the form.
