This September, repair work at Angus Glen Community Centre will result in temporary changes to Library access, parking and exterior book returns. Here's what you can expect during the construction period.
Library Access
The east entrance of the Community Centre (near the Library) will be closed.
Please use the north or west entrances to access the Community Centre and Library.
Parking Changes
- Accessible parking spaces will be relocated to the north parking lot near the ramp entrance.
- Parking spaces near the Library will be unavailable.
- The roundabout driveway near the Library will be closed.
Overnight Returns
The exterior book return bins will be temporarily unavailable.
After-hours returns may be made at any other Markham Public Library branch.
During Library operating hours, materials can be returned:
- At the self-check station in the Community Centre
- At the Library service desk
Construction Noise
Construction activity will involve heavy equipment. Visitors may experience increased noise levels while visiting the Library and Community Centre.
