Bicycle Lending Library

Markham Public Library’s Bike Hub, in partnership with Markham Cycles, offers a unique opportunity to borrow bikes and cycling accessories using your library card! Open each year from May to October, the Bike Hub is conveniently located at Milliken Mills Community Centre and Centennial Community Centre.

Markham Cycles is the city’s first community bike hub and the only one of its kind in York Region. As a vital part of Markham’s cycling infrastructure, it plays a key role in encouraging more residents to embrace cycling as a regular activity.

Bikes and accessories can be borrowed for up to 2 weeks. You will need to complete the Special Collections Agreement with Markham Cycles before borrowing a bike using your library card.
