Are you wanting to take your gifts to the next level? Or maybe you’d like a simple idea to start off with. Come experiment with our makerspace and design a gift with your imagination. Why spend extra when you can do it yourself. All you’ll need to bring is your file (i.e.PNG, .AI), and the material being used (i.e. Wood, fabric, cup). Here are 5 ideas to help you get started.
- Engrave the receiver’s name or their favourite design on a small piece of wood (For example, using a coaster with their favourite sports team logo, or use a wooden cutting engraved as an anniversary gift with your spouse’s name and anniversary date.
- Vinyl Cutter - Design a tshirt with our Graphtec CE6000-60 and Red Clam Heat Press
- Cricut - Make your own sticker and place it on an object such as a cup. Design your own professional card
- Photoshop: Make a postcard, album cover, picture frame
Book the machine and/or an appointment with a DLS to help get you set up. If you have specific questions, call in advance to prepare you. Machines are available only at some branches.
