The most valuable card in your wallet could be a library card.
As more residents look for ways to cut costs, find entertainment, and connect with their communities, Markham Public Library (MPL) provides services, resources, and opportunities that deliver exceptional value every day.
While libraries are best known for books, many people may be surprised to learn that a library card also provides access to streaming services, online learning, digital newspapers and magazines, career development tools, family programming, and much more. Many of these services would otherwise require paid subscriptions, making a library card one of the best values available to residents.
MPL provides welcoming spaces where residents can learn, grow, connect, and explore. Libraries play an important role in the community, offering resources and services for everyone, regardless of age, income, or background. Whether you're helping a child learn to read, exploring a new career path, learning a new skill, starting a business, or simply looking for something fun to do, endless opportunities begin at the library.
As Canada celebrates Library Month in October, there's no better time to sign up for a library card and discover everything Markham Public Library has to offer.
