100th anniversary of the enactment of the Chinese Exclusion Act in Canada

Ready, set.. mark your calendars for June 23rd! The Honourable Senator Yuen Pau Woo and the Honourable Senator Victor Oh, alongside the incredible team at Action! Chinese Canadians Together (ACCT) Foundation, will be hosting a live-stream event in the Senate of Canada Chamber, in remembrance of 100th anniversary of the enactment of the Chinese Exclusion Act in Canada.

This event is an opportunity to remember, reflect, and learn about this racist policy in Canada's history and its devastating effects on Chinese Canadians. It will also spotlight the deep-rooted relationship between Chinese Canadians and Indigenous Peoples in Canada, while igniting a powerful sense of pride and belonging.

Together, we can create a brighter, more inclusive future where everyone can thrive.
