LunauWeb
Lunauweb is a digital archive of images and documents named in honour of John Lunau, a local historian who dedicated his life toward the conservation of Markham’s heritage. The database includes his papers and a number of other historical documents including photos, deeds, letters, the diary and poetry of George Bruce and notes regarding the history of local churches and cemeteries. Also included in Lunauweb is the Unionville Historical Society Papers and the Weaver Photography Collection, a collection of historical photographs by Alf Weaver documenting Thornhill’s transition from a rural to suburban community.
