Seeing ourselves reflected in literature can be comforting and empowering. And reading about the experience of others can help us build empathy and begin to understand ourselves or others better. Whether or not you are thinking you may or are just beginning to identify as LGBTQ+ or are ready to come out to your friends and family, know that your feelings, thoughts and experiences are all valid and okay.
