June is Senior’s Month, a time to recognize and honour older adults. 2022 marks the 38th Seniors’ Month where seniors are celebrated as important parts of our communities in Ontario as well as in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nunavut.
The 2022 theme is Stay Active, Connected, and Safe. Lifelong learning is key to living and aging successfully, and throughout the month of June ,Markham Public Library has many programs to help celebrate.

Online Resources – There are lots of great online resources that can be access from home. You can check out eBooks, magazines and newspapers, and even take online courses, to name a few. The best part? We know how diverse the Markham community is, so many of our resources are offered in many languages other than English!
