Stories of Infertility

In recent years we’ve heard many celebrities such as Meghan Merkle, Chrissy Teigen, Beyonce, Mark Zuckerberg and others open up about their struggles with infertility or stories of miscarriage. In these stories, the message is clear and that is that you are not alone. In Canada roughly 16% (1 in 6) couples experience infertility. It is not uncommon but rarely talked about, many suffering from infertility describes the experience as isolating and lonely. Stress, deep feelings of loss and grief are all normal emotional responses and finding support or hearing from others experiencing similar situations can be helpful.
